COPYRIGHT NOTICE

All images, paintings, artwork, photographs, audio recordings, music, text, graphics, logos, product mockups, page layout, design elements, and all other content published on this website (collectively, “Content”) are the sole intellectual property of MEZ or are used under a valid license, and are protected by United States and international copyright law.

Copyright protection attaches automatically to every original work of authorship fixed in a tangible medium. Selected works are additionally registered with the U.S. Copyright Office.

Accessing or viewing this website does not grant you any license, right, title, or interest in any Content. No implied license arises from your use of the site. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, broadcast, transmit, publish, repost, scrape, data-mine, reverse-engineer, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, sublicense, sell, or otherwise exploit any Content, in whole or in part, by any means, without the prior written permission of MEZ. This prohibition applies to all formats and media, including digital, print, and broadcast.

ARTWORK & AUDIO USE

All paintings, drawings, prints, and visual artwork displayed on this site are original works by MEZ. They may not be reproduced, printed, framed, sold, licensed, or incorporated into any commercial or non-commercial work without express written authorization.

All music, audio recordings, samples, stems, loops, and audio previews available on this site are original compositions by MEZ and are fully protected by copyright. They may not be downloaded (except where an explicit download option is provided), reproduced, broadcast, sampled, remixed, edited, synced to video, uploaded to streaming platforms, or used in any other work without express written authorization.

Low-resolution previews and short audio clips are provided solely to allow visitors to evaluate works for potential purchase. The provision of a preview does not constitute a license to use that Content.

TRADEMARK NOTICE

THE ART OF MEZ, MEZ, and associated logos, slogans, and product line names are trademarks and trade dress of MEZ. They identify the source and quality of MEZ’s goods and services and distinguish them from those of other artists and brands.

You may not use these marks in any way that is likely to cause confusion, suggest sponsorship or affiliation with MEZ, or dilute or tarnish their distinctiveness. This includes use in domain names, social media handles, hashtags, advertising, merchandise, or any other commercial or promotional context without prior written consent.

PRINT-ON-DEMAND & CUSTOM ORDERS

When you place an order for a product featuring artwork selected from this site, MEZ grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal license to receive and keep one physical copy of that product for your own personal, non-commercial use only. This license does not permit you to reproduce, resell, sublicense, publicly display, or otherwise exploit the artwork beyond the single physical item you purchased.

User-Submitted Content

If you submit, upload, or otherwise provide artwork, text, images, or other content in connection with a custom order (including any personalisation or bespoke product request), you represent and warrant that:

You own all intellectual property rights in that content, or have obtained all necessary licences, consents, and permissions to use it and to authorise MEZ and its fulfilment partners to use it for the purpose of producing, processing, and shipping your order;
The content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, right of publicity, privacy right, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right of any third party; and
The content is not defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.

By submitting content you grant MEZ and its fulfilment partners a limited, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and process that content solely to fulfil your order. MEZ reserves the right to refuse any order that, in its sole discretion, infringes or may infringe third-party rights.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MEZ, its affiliates, and its fulfilment partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with content you submit.

DMCA TAKEDOWN POLICY

MEZ respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), MEZ will respond expeditiously to notices of alleged copyright infringement.

To File a Takedown Notice

If you believe that Content on this website infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent containing all of the following:

Your physical or electronic signature;
Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are at issue;
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient information to allow us to locate it (e.g., a URL);
Your contact information — name, address, telephone number, and email address;
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

Counter-Notice

If you believe that material you submitted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the address above. A counter-notice must include substantially the same information as a takedown notice, plus a statement (under penalty of perjury) that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, and your consent to jurisdiction of the federal district court for your location.

MEZ actively monitors for unauthorised use of its artwork and audio and will pursue all available legal remedies, including injunctive relief and statutory damages, for wilful infringement.

ENFORCEMENT

MEZ takes the protection of its intellectual property seriously. Unauthorised use of any Content may constitute infringement of copyright, trademark, and/or other applicable laws, and may subject the infringer to civil liability and criminal penalties.

GENERAL

This policy is governed by the laws of the United States. MEZ reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time; the effective date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the most recent revision. If any provision of this policy is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
